Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations conference where students act as delegates, discussing real-world issues with the policies of their assigned delegations. Model United Nations (MUN) is your chance to step into the shoes of a diplomat and tackle real-world challenges alongside passionate young minds from across Indonesia.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Muskitnas MUN is an annual event of simulation of the United Nations where students represent countries and debate real-world issues. It’s a great way to learn about diplomacy, public speaking, research, and negotiation.

Students currently enrolled in high school are eligible to participate. Registration is based on school name. Each school must send 3 delegates and 1 assisting teacher.

Delegates will research their assigned country/figure’s positions on the topics being debated. During the conference, they will deliver speeches, negotiate with other delegates, and write resolutions to solve the issues.

  • Research your assigned country/figure thoroughly.
  • Learn about the rules of procedure for MUN debates.
  • Practice your public speaking skills.
  • Develop strong negotiation skills.

A caucus is a smaller, informal meeting where delegates can discuss issues and work on resolutions.

A resolution is a proposed solution to a problem that is debated and voted on by the committee.

The dress code for MUN is typically business formal.
